MAKE A BETTER COMMUNITY TOGETHER

Loveblock is a local mission born out of our core missionary value, “The ends of the earth begin where we stand.” Loveblock becomes friends with the neighbors where the church is located, building God’s kingdom together with them.
Through various events like the Loveblock Café, family photo sessions, movie nights, Halloween festivals, and summer camps, we provide a fun environment for children while also instilling dreams and a Christian worldview.
The idea for the Loveblock Café came when we saw elementary school children and their mothers from Los Angeles Elementary, just one block away from the church, walking past the church after school. We wanted to create an environment where the children could play freely and rest. Since then, the church has been inviting them every Friday.
Over pizza and drinks, we are building trusting relationships with the children and their mothers, getting to know each other better.

The ‘Dream-On Summer Camp’ is designed to inspire and help children, from families we have built relationships with through Loveblock, to discover their talents and instill a healthy and proactive worldview and values. To achieve this, teachers with expertise in various fields volunteer to offer classes in English, science, psychotherapy, art, and more. Dream-On Camp is also preparing to establish a Saturday after-school program in the future.

Holywin Festival
Every October, on Halloween, we open our church parking lot to the children and families who visit for Trick or Treat, hosting the HolyWins Festival. Everyone dresses up in costumes, and through concerts, games, food, and fun market activities, we build relationships with the community.

Family Photo
Every year, we invite the children’s families to participate in Photo Studio Day, where we take family photos and gift them a framed, printed picture. This event provides a time to get to know one another and build friendships through the photo-taking process.

When the warm spring arrives, our church parking lot becomes an outdoor movie theater for our neighbors. We invite them to a wonderful time of outdoor movie watching, complete with popcorn, pizza, and drinks.
