‚Host Mi’ - Bavarian Communication

Bobi Bar. At some later point of time this older and drunk but jolly fellow adressed me and first I thought he speaks Bavarian. So I answered in Bavarian but the guy did not realize it so we chatted for quite a while, he in Danish, me in Bavarian and I believe we had a very good conversation! Reminds me of a story when the Pope (Mr Kardinal Ratzinger) once adressed a cat and the journalists who did not understand what he said were speculating it was Bavarian dialect. When I see small kids or dogs I realize I also tend to speak Bavarian. Am I strange? Or just Bavarian?
