Yesterday I was in the local bar here in Christiania called “Woodstock” with Janne and Ivan who are visiting from Berlin. What a scene! Just the name of the bar! Suddenly a guy appeared with a Kaperle-hat (transl.: jesper-hat -?). He danced with a girl with brown curls and he had his upper body leaning towards the floor, the hands swinging. Then he vomited and the curly girl just cleaned it very quick with a paper towel and continued dancing. Lots of hardcore alcoholics. We felt like being in a timewarp in the 80s and like watching TV.
Two guys asked me for fire for their cigarettes, but it was more a kind of stoneage-grunt, Ivan thought things here seemed reduced to the archaic.
Afterwards we went to ‘the other bar’ – Nemoland, more a rockertype place, which we didn’t like.
The vegetarian Restaurant just around my place here actually is quite nice, more reasonable prices, good food.
I would like to attend a meeting here in Christiania.
